If it were up to me, I would ban any AI generated image or partially AI generated image until this gets more legally under control. The problem is how can Artstation filter out AI? What happens if an image is 80% AI with the other 20% created by the artist? Wonder if an artist is wrongly accused of using AI? Should art sites start forcing artists to post sketch phase images along side the final piece? I'm against AI stealing, but how do we stop this? One rough solution could be creating a totally separate section of the site for AI content to encourage the idea that AI is SEPARATE from human created works. The only way I can see AS being able to filter out AI is make it so artists have to post sketch phases or process related images along with the final art. Artist's would NOT be allowed to post anything to do with AI in their original AS portfolio and only post AI content in their AI portfolio. There would be a totally separate "Trending" and "Latest" page dedicated to AI art of any kind (partial or non-partial). I'd even encourage AI INSPIRED (as in looking at AI for reference) artwork to be put in an artist's AI portfolio (but this would be almost impossible to enforce).
