Pirate Sorceress and Kraken Hatchling

Catalina ‘The Squid’ Buckley is a sorceress that is well known on the seas. Her strength is water manipulation. She’s unsure where her power came from, but it’s definitely tied to her tragic past. Pirates raided her village and buried her and her family in the sand so they would drown by the incoming tide. She was just a child, but through her immense hate and fear, her powers were forced out of her. She managed to control the water enough to save herself, but sadly it was too late for her family. She now sails across the sea pirating pirates in the name of her family. To this day she fears the water, which fuels her power to wield it so well. While she’s afraid of the water, she’s not afraid of the creatures that live in it. She followed clues from fishermen to where the sea was calm and dark. She explored the water in that area for months at various depths, wanting to see if the tales were true. She found a Kraken hatchling. She can tame the sea, but can she tame a Kraken?
